Biography

Hélène Gagné was born on 18 May 1828. She was the daughter of Etienne Gagné and his wife Marguerite Ross. Hélène married first husband Joseph Dubé on 7 Jan 1847 in Sainte-Luce parish in Rimouski. At age 27 she married second husband Gilbert Lebrun on 9 Oct 1855 in Saint-Flavie parish in Rimouski.
