Contrat de mariage entre Joseph Forcier, fils de Joseph Forcier, de Saint-François, et Agathe Ganière, fille de François Gagnier et de Jeanne Vanasse. Agathe Gagné apporte en dot un arpent et 7 perches à Joseph Forcier son mari «promettant Ledit Forcier pere de donner audit forcier son fils un arpent et demy de terre joignant le nommé boisel; et laditte ganier d'aporter en la presente communauté le nombre de un arpant sept perches et quatre pieds sur le (provenans ?) de son père situé audit St-François». Notaire Daniel Normandin. 2 février 1729[1]
Le 3 février 1729, à Saint-François-du-Lac, Joseph Forsier (sic), fils de Joseph Forcier et de Gertrude Jouiel (sic, Joyal), épousa Agathe Poidevin, fille de François Gagnier et de Jeanne Vanase, en présence de Pierre Bibeau, Jean Jouiel, Jean Baptiste Labonté, le prêtre curé Jean Baptiste Dugast célébrant. Seul Labonté signe avec le prêtre.[2]

Décès
Agathe Ganier est inhumée le 13 juin 1748, à Saint-François-du-Lac, l'acte lui donnant 48 ans.[4]
Tutelle aux mineurs de Joseph Forcier et de feue Agathe Ganier (Gagnier dit Poitevin) 8 juillet 1754[5] Il s'agit entre autres de l'héritage qui revient aux enfants d'Agathe de la succession de Jean Baptiste Ganier.
