Margaret Wainwright Gailey was born in 1868 in Sutton, St Helens. She was the daughter of Daniel Gailey and Ellen (Rigby) Gailey. Her birth was registered in the first quarter of 1868, as Margaret Wainwright Gailey.
Margaret was christened twice, which is not supposed to happen. She was christened the first time on December 18th 1868 at St Nicholas' Church in Sutton (Anglican), as Margaret Gailey. The second time was on October 17th 1869 at the same church, and this time she was given the name Margaret Wainwright Gailey. The family's address was given as Sutton, and her father's occupation as labourer, both times.
Margaret died in March 1870, aged two. She was buried on March 27th at St Nicholas' Church. The family's address was given as Sutton.
