Biography
When Anna 'Annie' Lee Gaines was born on April 25, 1884, in Ridgely, Missouri, her father, Joseph, was 22, and her mother, Mary, was 15.[1] She married twice, first to Lewis Holt Zirkle on June 26, 1900, in Clinton, Missouri;[2] their union ended and both remarried, she to Alva Cleveland Tudor (1887–1981) about 1918. She died on July 19, 1965, in Independence, Missouri, at the age of 81, and was buried in Kansas City, Missouri.[3]
