Mrs. Lillian Holland

Mrs. Lillian Holland, 79, Rollingstone, died Sunday morning at Community Memorial Hospital, following a long illness. She was born March 5, 1896 in St. Charles to Mr. and Mrs. Michael Ganey. A lifelong area resident, she married Edmund Holland Oct. 28, 1914, in Elba. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Survivors are: four sons, Harold, Minneapolis; James, Rockledge, Fla.; John, Rollingstone, and Kenneth, Phoenix, Ariz.; four daughters, Sister Rose, Reno, Nev.;; Mrs. Agnes Fenton, Winona; Mrs. Ned (Eileen) Stein, Salinas, Calif.; and Mrs. Charles (Patricia) Kieffer, Rochester; 42 grandchildren; 16 grandchildren and five sisters, Mrs. Percy Pearson, Modesto, Calif.; Miss Honora Ganey, Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Donald (Edith) Rubel, Arlington, Va.; Mrs. Andrew (Katherine) Wolf, Cudahy, Wis., and Mrs. James (Margaret) Brooks, Helena, Mont. Her husband died in 1951. One daughter, three brothers and one sister have died. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Holy Trinity Church, Rollingstone, the Rev. Leland Smith officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Thomas and Daniel Holland, Paul and Mark Kieffer, Kevin Fenton and Andrew Wolf. Friends may call at Sellner-Hoff Funeral Home, Rollingstone, after 4 p.m. today and until 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. There will be a wake service at 8 p.m. Winona Daily News, May 12, 1975
