Anton was born about 1830. He passed away after 1874.
Emma Rose Gajafski Cartier narrated the Gajafski Family History to her daughter Carol Ione Taylor. The following is an excerpt: "Adolph's father was Polish and his mother was German, died as Jagersman--Emperor's Guard. He was a "no-good" guard in the Black Forest, died a drunkard, and was buried in a drunkard's grave. Adolph's mother was abused by father. One night washed self, put on clean clothes, went to bed, and was found dead the next morning."
