Biography
James was born in 1887. He is the son of James Galbraith and Mary Johnston. He married Sarah Jane Hughes on 28 Apr 1915 at Second Broughshane Presbyterian Church. They were described as “James, full, bachelor, farmer of Killyree, Clough, son of James Galbraith, farmer” and “Sarah Jane Hughes, full, spinster of Greenmount Terrace, Ballymena, dt of Francis Hughes, labourer” and the witnesses were Robert Watt and Hessie Hughes.
