Biography

Lemuel Henry Galbreath was born on a hot day July 11, 1869 in Starr, Anderson County, South Carolina, USA to his parents Manassa Nance David Galbreath and Adeline Caroline Howell Galbreath.

Lemuel and his bride, Mary Elizabeth (Lida) Boggs were married in 1888. They had 5 children: Ralph (1890), Alpha (1892), Loia (1895). Selma (1901) and Marshel (1903).

They were married 64 years when Lemuel passed away in 1952 at 82. Lida lived on until 1960, her 92nd year. Lemuel's father and mother were shining examples to them who were married 57 years.
