Robert Galbraith married Magdalene de Plancas in South Leith on 26 November 1609[1] In the records from 4th January 1599 – 25th March 1613 for South Leith Parish Church "10th November 1609 Robert Galbraith (Parishioner) of Kirkcaldy and Magdalene de Plancas were ordered by the Session to lodge Pledges and Robert Galbraith to get a testimonial of his mothers consent to their marriage."[2]
