Biography

Susannah Gale was born 14 Jul 1758 in Sutton, Worcester County, Province of Massachusetts Bay. She was the daughter of Isaac Gale and Mehitable Dwinell. ^{[1][2][3] [4]}

Susannah, while residing in Royalston, Worcester County, Massachusetts, married, in Royalston, 16 Oct 1777, Bartholomew French, of Athol, Worcester County, Massachusetts. ^[5][6][7][3] Bartholomew was the brother of Prudence French, who married Susannah's brother, Peter Gale.

Susannah died in Barre City, Washington County, Vermont, 21 Apr 1843, at age 84.^[8][3]

She was buried in Barre City's Elmwood Cemetery, Barre, Washington County, Vermont.^[3]
