Biography
Eliza Gale, daughter of Emmanuel Gale and Sarah Jolliffe, [1] was born in about 1827 in Newchurch, Isle of Wight. [2] She was baptised on 15 July 1827 in Newchurch, Isle of Wight. [1] She married Charles Mackett on 25 December 1851 in Newchurch, Isle of Wight. [3] She died in about February 1893 on the Isle of Wight. [4]

On 7 April 1861 in Newchurch, Isle of Wight, with her husband Charles Mackett and their sons James Charles Mackett aged 8, William Emanuel Mackett aged 4 and Walter Henry Mackett aged 9 months. [5]
On 3 April 1881 in Arreton, Isle of Wight, with her husband Charles Mackett, her father-in-law James Mackett and her sons James C. Mackett aged 27, Walter H. Mackett aged 20 and Frederick J. Mackett aged 18. [2]
