Frank Gale was born in 1877.[1][2] He was the son of John Mills Gale and Jane Gale.[1] At the time, the family was living at 2 Idenden Terrace, Greenwich.[1]
Baptism
Edwin was baptised Frank Gale on 12 Aug 1877 at Christ Church East, Greenwich. [1]
Residence
By 1881, his mother, Jane, and brother, Edwin, had died. He was still living at 2 Idenden Terrace, Greenwich with his father, John Mills Gale and two siblings, Emily (14) and Louisa (5). His aunt, his father's sister, Charlotte had moved in, as housekeeper, to help out.[3]
In 1891, Frank and his sister, Louisa (15) were living with their father in a house at the Saw Mills on Dover Road, Crayford in Kent, where he was the manager. [4]
