Catherine was born in 1827. She was the daughter of Henry Gall and Sarah Hitzler. She passed away on 4 October 1900 in Somerville, Mass, USA.[1] According to Shilstone she had at least two sons "one was a famous Boston Oculist who wrote standard textbooks..."
She married Cumberbatch Chandler, a planter of Christchurch, Barbados in Barbados on 23 October 1849[2]
