known as a Shipwright and importer exporter in Glasgow there are FTs that suggest he is Francis G. married to Isobel McCauley but dates don't match, will work on it A relative back in the 1990's told me in that a Steamer caller the Charles Todd was either built owned or captained by Francis Gallacher but have only turned up James's name in searches involving steamers. Francis has a grandson Charles Todd Gallacher 1833-67 Ancestry.com records say married Isabel McCaulay 17 May1798 having 13 Children, our line James 1801
