y maiden name was Henwood. The Henwood's came out to NZ in 1857/8 on the Joseph Fletcher. The came from ST Endellion and ST Teath in Cornwall.
My mother's relatives came from Australia and before that England. My mther's mother was Margery Jean Hesketh because she was adopted by her aunt and uncl, Ezra and Edith Hesketh. Mary Jane Hesketh and Horatio Norman Walkerden were her birth parents wwho married after she was born in Jan 1911. Ive had my DNa test done by ancestry. com and quite a few matched relatives are Walkerdens. This proves her story is true. She did meet her full brothers and sisters from Perth later in life. They called her Bon or Bonnie. My mum's father was Arnold Bridge, and his ancestors came fro Chorley, England. My dad's grandfather, John Rowe, came from Bodmin UK.
