Date on birth and death estimated from brothers dates and age of his wife, then in 1901 his wife is listed as widowed and the last Petty sessions I have for him, requesting a dog license was in 1891. Speculative, but likely that Shane is a son of Owen rather than a brother of Owen. DNA matching with known cousins, but still either scenario could still be possible. Shane's name on death was "John", so looking at this new data, Shane was likely Owen's brother, as Owen already had a son John. Other possible scenario is that Shane was named Owen and nicknamed Shane and his brother was named John.
Shane's cause of death is asthma.
