Biography
James Gallaher was born on 9 January 1842. He was the son of Thomas Gallaher and Martha Emberson.
James married Jessie Muir, daughter of William Muir, on 10 September 1874.
He was director of the Belfast Steamship Company Ltd. and of the United Distilleries Company Ltd.
James died on 4 February 1929, and was buried in Belfast City Cemetery, Belfast, County Antrim.[1]
