Biography

Cresence Gallant was born on 10 Oct 1839 and baptized on 27 Oct 1839 in Grande-Digue, New Brunswick, the daughter of Gabriel Gallant and Cécile Bourgeois. [1][2]

Crescence married Victor Arsenault, son of Pierre Arsenault and Marguerite McGrath, on 22 Nov 1858 in Grande-Digue.[3][4] A dispensation was granted for 4 degrees of consanguinity (they were 3rd cousins, view relationship).

In the 1871 census Cristina (age 31) lived in Shediac, Westmorland, New Brunswick.[5] She was listed with her husband Victore and children Lazime, Uzeb, Sileno, Peter, and Gabril.

In the 1881 census Crecouse (age 40) lived in Shediac, Westmorland, New Brunswick.[6] She was listed with her husband Victor and 7 children.
