On 28 September 1849 at age 12 twins James and Henry were baptised in Dorset Square, London, together with two other brothers William (15) and John (11).
He passed away on 17 August 1914 in Dunedin, age 78.[1] His last address was recorded as 566 Leith Street, Dunedin. He was buried on 19 August in Block 15. Plot 36 of the Northern Cemetery, Dunedin [2]
