Biography
Amable dit Gourdelle was born about 1795 to his parents Pierre Gallant and Modeste Arsenault.
He married Gertrude LeBrun, daughter of Francois LeBrun and Sebastienne Josephe dite Basquienne Doiron on 10 Jan 1815, St-Augustin, Rustico, PEI

On January 10th 1815, in Rasticot, Amable Galant adult son of Pierre Galant and Modeste Arceneau married Gertrude Lebrun minor daughter of deceased François LeBrun and Basquine Doiron. All parties from Rasticot. Witnesses were: Groom- his father Pierre Galant, his cousin Urbain Galant ; Bride- her brother in law Simon Gautreau, Elie Doiron and others, none could sign.[1]
