GEORGE GALLEGOS JR., 56, of Albuquerque’s north valley passed away in Albuquerque, NM on Sunday, June 2, 2013. George was born October 14, 1956 in Albuquerque, NM to George and Fedalina (Gonzales) Gallegos Sr. George was a lifetime resident of ABQ. He was a cook at The Sandwich Company. George was preceded in death by his father George Gallegos Sr. and his grandpa Serafin Gonzales. He is survived by his mother Feda and Carlos Chavarria of Albuquerque; long time companion Debbie Wiese of Corrales; son George Gallegos and partner Richard Medina of Albuquerque; step-son Andrew Wiese of Albuquerque; daughters Stephanie and her husband Antonio Hernandez of Albuquerque and Samantha Gallegos of Corrales; brothers Ernest Gallegos and his wife Yvonne of Albuquerque and Frank Gallegos and his wife Juanita of Albuquerque; sisters Corrine Lucero and her husband Lawrence of Albuquerque, Yvonne Aguilar of Albuquerque and Debra Griego of Albuquerque; grandma Ciria Gonzales; aunt Audrie Martinez and her husband Joe of Albuquerque; uncle Barney Gallegos and his wife Emma of Albuquerque; grandchildren Antonio Hernandez, Marcos Hernandez, Adrian Hernandez and Analisa Hernandez; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. There will be Memorial Service at the Mission of San Jose Catholic Church, 2010 Los Luceros Rd. NW, ABQ, NM on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 9:00AM, with Deacon Joe Officiating. A reception will follow the burial at the home of Corrine and Lawrence Lucero, 2833½ Moya Rd. NW, ABQ, NM. A Rosary will be recited Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 2:00pm at the home of George’s uncle and aunt Servie and Geri Gonzales’ home, 5830 La Madera Rd., Sandia Park, NM. Burial will follow at La Madera Cemetery on Boot Hill Road in La Madera, NM with Antonio Hernandez as pallbearer.
