The fourth brother, John Ireland Gallery, was a Catholic Priest and Navy Chaplain.

Obituary

Rev. John Ireland Gallery, 92, a former World War II chaplain and pastor emeritus of St. Christina Roman Catholic Church in Chicago, died Friday in Little Company of Mary Hospital, Evergreen Park.

Born in Chicago, Rev. Gallery was a veteran of World War I and was ordained in March 1926. He served as a Navy chaplain in World War II and was a pastor at St. Christina Church.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday in St. Christina Church, 11005 S. Homan Ave. Mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the church.
