John Galley was born in Trumpington, Cambridgeshire, England.

John Charles Galley was born in 1876 in Trumpington, Cambridgeshire[1]. He was the son of John Galley and Ann Neaves[2]

In the 1881 census Charles (age 4), Scholar, was living on London Road, Trumpington, Cambridgeshire, England.[3]

In the 1891 census John (age 14) was the son of Ann M Galley in Trumpington, Cambridgeshire, England.[4]

In 1905 he married Mildred Jane Wilkin in Cottenham, Cambridgeshire,[5][6][7] and they had a son Cecil Patrick (b.1909, d.1990).
