Her mother Mary died giving birth to a still born girl when Mary was 10 years old.
On 25 October 1856 she was admitted to Horton Hospital. Discharged 8 June 1857.
In the 1851 census, Mary and her sisters Elizabeth and Susan were living with their Dad, but later that year, her married Ann, who had baby Cara.
Mary's occupation was recorded as 'cook domestic servant'.
Mary died of pthisis (also known as consumption or tuberculosis) at 1 Suffolk street in Leckhampton, which was her father Mark's home.
