Mary Ann was baptised on the 4th of December 1836 under her mother's name. She was the daughter of Martha Gallop.[1]
She was recorded under William's name in the 1841 census at the age of 4.[2]
Research Notes
Baptised under mother's surname 'Gallop' - unsure if William is her biological father
Possible death record in 1848 of 11 year old Mary Anne Gallop - explains sibling also named Mary Ann in 1850.[3]
