George was born in 1923. He is the son of Albert Gallop and Mary Mitchell. George was a Paper Inspector for the NB International Paper Company; a salesman for Standard Life and he owned New Brunswick T.V. Servicing until his retirement.
During WWII he served overseas with 6th group 403 Squadron as a Spitfire Engine Mechanic, having the rank of Corporal.
Predeceased by his parents; a brother Gideon; sisters Elizabeth and Dorothy and a son-in-law Brian.
Buried in Forest Hill Cemetery.
