Biography

Franklin Galloway was born in Appalachia, in Tennessee.

Franklin Monroe Galloway was born on May 25, 1882 in Tennessee, son of James Samuel Galloway (1840–1905) and Mary Ann Walker (1847–1925).[1]

In 1900, Frankland (18) Gallaway was in the household of James Gallaway in Civil District 4 Walling town, White, Tennessee. [2]

Franklin (23) married Mary Etta Franks (18) (born on September 9, 1887 in Tennessee, United States; daughter of Spencer Holder Franks and Altamira (Dillon) Franks) on February 9, 1906 in White.[3]

Their children were:

In 1910, Franklin M (28) Galaway was living in Civil District 4, White. [4]

Franklin registered for the draft for World War I. [5]

In 1920, Frank (38) E was living in Long Island, Jackson, Alabama. [6]

In 1930, Frank M (48) was living in District 3, Hamilton, Tennessee. [7]

In 1940, Frank (58) was living in Civil District 3, Hamilton. [8]

Franklin died on December 16, 1940 in Hamilton County, Tennessee, USA, aged 58. He was buried in Redbank Cemetery, Chattanooga.[9] [10] [1]
