Franklin Monroe Galloway was born on May 25, 1882 in Tennessee, son of James Samuel Galloway (1840–1905) and Mary Ann Walker (1847–1925).^[1]

Franklin (23) married Mary Etta Franks (18) (born on September 9, 1887 in Tennessee, United States; daughter of Spencer Holder Franks and Altamira (Dillon) Franks) on February 9, 1906 in White.^[3]
