Eades-Galloway Marriage
Research Notes
- Birth year based on spouse's birth year with her being 21 at her marriage in 1804. She most likely was born before 1788 which would make her at least 16 at her marriage. Death year was sometime after 1840 and most likely before 1850 as not record for her was located in 1850 census.
- In the will of Joseph Perry Eades (1771-abt.1836)[5], Frances is listed as his spouse, not Sally (Threlkeld) Eades (1790-abt.1840). The Sarah listed in his will was married to a Moses Crag. No mention was made of another daughter by the name of Sarah. Apparently Sarah Ann (Eades) Sparks (1821-1914), was the daughter of a different Joseph Eades and Sally (Threlkeld) Eades (1790-abt.1840) was never married to Joseph Perry Eades (1771-abt.1836). BJS

Per the will of Joseph Perry Eades (1771-abt.1836), his wife at the time of his death was Frances, most likely still Frances (Galloway) Eades (abt.1783-aft.1840). No mention was made in his will about his having a wife, Sarah. The only Sarah mentioned in his will was a Sarah married to a Moses Crag. I believe the marriage added to this Joseph Eades is incorrectly attached. Further research is probably needed for the marriage of a Joseph Eades, spouse of Sally (Threlkeld) Eades (1790-abt.1840) and father of Sarah Ann (Eades) Sparks (1821-1914).
