Biography
Christian Galloway was born in Dysart Fife in 1815. She was the daughter of George Galloway and his wife Isabella Lumsden[1]
William Tod married Christian Galloway, they married in Dysart and Wemyss in November 1847. She was his second wife.[2]

1861 CENSUS
In the 1861 Census William and Christine Tod aged 46 were living in Kilbirnie Ayrshire with their sons, George, David, James, John and Andrew. William was working at the Flax Mill and George was a mechanic. David, James and John were at school and Andrew was only 3. Their daughter Grace most likely had died by this date.
She passed away in Kemback in 1870. [4]

Christian’s three sons were baptised in Wemyss, she was called Isabella in all the records.
