Helen Galloway was born on 25 Mar 1832 in Alloa, Clackmannanshire, Scotland, the daughter of John Galloway and Margaret Donaldson.^[1]

In the 1841 census Helen (age 8) was in Village Of Cambus, Alloa, Clackmannanshire.^[2]

In the 1861 census Helen (age 29), domestic servant, was the servant of John Kirkpatrick at 12 Charlotte Sque, Edinburgh St George, Midlothian.^[3]

Helen married Robert Dickson in 1866 in Alloa.^[4]

Helen died on 15 Jan 1902 in Alloa, aged 69.^[5][6]
