Biography

1. dob assumed to be after the marriage of her parents.

After her husband's death in 1838 she advertised that she was continuing the business.

HOP STORES AND WINE VAULTS, (12, ACADEMY STREET.)
A. O’DONOGHUE, (Widow of the late WILLIAM O’Donoghue) takes leave to acquaint her Friends, and the Public, that she continues to conduct the Hop and Wine business in all its branches, which her husband had for many years extensively pursued....

She continues to advertise and do business until 1843.

She appears in the valuation for Academy street on 31 January 1850. [1]

By 1853 she appears to no longer be in business but is letting out the stores, three lofts and an office in Academy street.
