Ann (Gally) Millington was born in Carlton, Cambridgeshire, England.

Ann Gally was born in about 1724 in Carlton and Willingham, in Cambridgeshire, England, and she was christened there on the 29th of November 1724. Ann's parents were Thomas Gally and Ann Gally.^[1]

In 1746, when Ann was about 22 years old, she married Thomas Millington in West Wickham, in Cambridgeshire, in 1746.^[2]

Thomas and Ann had at least five children together who were Sarah (1748),^[3] Mary (1749),^[4] Robert (1751),^[5] Ann (1754),^[6] and William (1756),^[7] who were all born in Stetchworth, in Cambridgeshire.
