Elijah Galusha is the descendant of a Huguenot emigrant.

Elijah G. Galusha was born on 17 September 1780 in Vermont to Elijah Galusha and Beulah (Chittenden) Galusha.[1]

He married Lucy Throop on 20 February 1803 in Livingston County, Kentucky.[2]

In 1810 he was living with his wife, Lucy (16-25), and their daughters, in Caldwell County, Kentucky:
