He re-married shortly after Pamelia's death in 1871 to an Anna Bisbee on 01 Feb 1872.
Jacob was a farmer who was born on 9 August 1802 in Burlington, Vermont. His parents were Ezra Galusha and Mabel Barney.[3]
He married Pamela Foote in Kane County, Illinois in 1845. [4] They had three children: Ezra (b.1846), Clara (b.1848), and Edwin (b.1851).
In 1855 the family was living in Downer's Grove, Illinois. Also living with them was his brother Charles. [5] Ten years later, in 1860, they were living in Winfield, Illinois [6], and in the same place in 1870. [7]
Jacob became a widower when his wife died in 1871. A year later, he remarried Anna (Jayne) Bisbee, a widow. [8] They were living in Winfield in 1880, along with Jacob's sons Ezra and Edwin, and Edwin's wife and three children. [9]
Jacob passed away at the age of 87 on 14 December 1889. He is buried in Warrenville cemetery, along with his parents, several siblings, first wife, and his sons. [10]
His wife Anna passed away a year later and was buried with her first husband in Wheaton Cemetery. [11]
