Lyman Galusha was born about 1789 in Stephentown, Rensselaer County, New York to Jacob Galusha and Dinah (Madison) Galusha.[1][2]

In 1840 he was living with his wife, Lucy (50-59), and their children, in Dix, Chemung County, New York.[7]
In 1850 he was living with his wife, Lucy (60), and their daughter, Maria (18), in Scio, Allegany County, New York.[8]
In 1855 he was living with his wife, Lucy (66), and their grand-son, Lyman Dunn (12), in Scio, Allegany County, New York.[1]
In 1860 he was living with his wife, Lucy (71), and others, in Allegany, Potter County, Pennsylvania.[9]
In 1865 he was living with his wife, Lucy (76), and grand-daughter, Sarah (5), in New York.[10]
In 1870 he was living with his wife, Lucy (82), and grand-daughter, Sarah (10), in Scio, Allegany County, New York.[11]
