Biography
Frances was the youngest known daughter of Frances Trifina Douglas and Robert Galvin of Dunedin. She was also known as Aunt Berta. Her early education was at Moray Place School. Frances belonged to the Christ Junior Christian Endeavour Society. She became a Registered Nurse and worked at the Central Mission and Stafford Hospitals in Dunedin. Between 1957 and 1963 Frances married John Henry Dodds, a Transport Operator. John passed away in 1980 and Frances never remarried. She passed away in 2003.
