2. He exhibited the Galwey pedigree to the College of Heralds in 1763 (to gain acceptance within the nobility) and was made Chevalier de Galwey.
3. He was bur in the church of St Jean du Pérot, La Rochelle [Note: this church was demolished, except for its tower, in the late 1800s due to its poor state and the high cost of renovation].
