Archibald "Arch" Gam was born on the 6th November 1899, at Wyong Creek, New South Wales, Australia, the second child, eldest son of Jacob Gam and Elizabeth Gilkison.[1]
He married Annie Elizabeth Maud Galvin, on the 29th March 1921, at Christ Church, Dungog, with the Venerable Archdeacon Luscombe acting as officiant,[2] subsequently having four children together.
WEDDING.
A quiet wedding was celebrated at Christ Church, Dungog, on Wednesday when Archibald Gam of Ward's River, was united to Miss E. Galvin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Galvin of Johnson's Creek, the officiating minister being the Ven. Archdeacon Luscombe. The best man was Mr. Urquhart and the sister of the bride was bridesmaid. The wedding breakfast was held at the Globe Cafe when a large number or guests were present and the usual toasts were honored.[3]
Archibald "Arch" Gam passed away on the 29th July 1972, in Gloucester, New South Wales, Australia, aged 72 years,[4]and was inurned in Gloucester Cemetery, Gloucester. where his wife would later be laid to rest. [5]
