Research Notes
Adam's parents Henry "Harry" Gam and Alice Hunter Murray (she was 21 years of age) married in 1891 1893 (family records say 1891, but the BDM registration is for 1893. A question then arises as to whether the 1891 date was used because of Lorna/Laura being born in 1893 .. of course, 1893 means that Alice was not 21, but 23 going on 24 .. then, too, if she was, as reported in her obituary, 21 years old when she married, that would make the year 1891, with the event being registered in 1893).
Their children were: Lorna / Laura (1893-1894), Albert (1896-1974), Adam John (1895-1970), Frederick Cyrus (1898-1898), Cyril (1904-1904), Leila Gwendoline (1905-1942)
