Ursule Gamard was born 26 Nov 1756 and baptized 29 Nov 1756 at the church of Saint-Pierre-de-Sorel, Saint-Pierre-de-Sorel, Canada, Nouvelle-France. She was the daughter of Jacques Gamard and Josephe Peloquin and her godparents were Germain Rocherau and Ursule Peloquin. 
Charles Poirier, son of the late Louis Poirier and Veronique Favreau, and Ursule Gamard, daughter of the late Jacques Gamard and Josette Felix, were married 16 Aug 1774 in the church of Saint-Joseph-de-Chambly, Chambly, Province de Québec. Present at the marriage were: Louis, Joseph and Bapt Poirier, brothers of the groom; Pierre Poirier and Simon Favreau, uncles of the groom; Genevieve Felix, aunt of Gabriel Fontaine; and many others. 
Ursule Gamard, wife of Charles Poirier and sixty-eight years of age, died 10 Mar 1825 and was buried 12 Mar 1825 in the cemetery of Saint-Joseph-de-Chambly, Chambly, Bas-Canada. Present at the burial were Joseph Brunel and Antoine Bachman.
