Hi Sandy,

The Australia Project leadership team are carrying out our annual check-in to see how you are going in the project. We'd really like to thank you for all your work on Australian profiles over the past year! We think we've made great progress in 2020/21 with your assistance.

Please could you reply to this message, to let us know if you would like to stay on in the project and if you are happy with your current role and team involvement. If you would like to do something additional or different, take a look on the Australia Project page to see what other options there are.

It would also be great to get any feedback or suggestions that you have to improve the project.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards

Margaret Haining Membership Coordinator

Hello Sandy,

The Australia Project leadership team are carrying out a check-in to see how you are going in the project and especially to thank you for all your work on Australian profiles on WikiTree. We really value your participation.

Please could you get back to me by private message to let me know if you are happy with your current role and team involvement within the project or if you would like to do something additional or different. Currently we have you down as a member of the Convicts and Earl Grey teams. If you would like a change, you can check on the Australia Project page to see what other options there are.

It would also be great to hear any feedback and any suggestions that you have to improve the project. On a practical note, if you are a member of the google group, are you receiving messages ok? Also you might consider adding Australia as one of the tags you are following on the G2G.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Sandy

I'm following up my post on your profile about your interest in continuing as an active member of the Australia Project. We really hope you would like to stay involved and look forward to hearing from you as soon as convenient.

The Australia Project page has the list of teams for your to review, as well as our minimal requirements for active membership. If you have decided that you don't have time to contribute at the moment, that is absolutely fine too, and you can rejoin whenever you wish. Regards Gillian, co-Leader, Australia Project

Hi

Wish you a Happy New Year. May 2018 bring you all you need to be happy.

Congratulation for adding your contributions in December. Whatever the quantity of your contributions, they all count. As we always say "Quality is better than quantity" to make a great family tree.

Thank you for being a Wikitreer,

Guy Constantineau - Wikitree leader

Hi Sandy,

If there is already a profile for a person, please don't create another one for them and then merge the two. Just add the information from your gedcom to the profile that's already on WikiTree. If you accidentally do create two profiles that need to be merged, don't forget to remove the duplicate information in the profile after you merge the two profiles. There should only be one Biography section and one Sources section. Thanks!

Your profile of Mabel Burrett, https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Burrett-30 has parents who were both born in the 20th century, not the 19th.

Can you work out if the problem is with their birth years, or if they are the wrong parents?

I can’t see due to the privacy settings on their profiles.

Cheers Mark

Hi Sandy, I have just merged the profiles of Matilda Dorothy Worcester as you suggested, and added in her Burial details.

Thanks for volunteering; You are now a confirmed member of WikiTree!

If you have WikiTree-specific problems you can contact a Mentor? at the Mentors Project.

Hi Sandra,

Welcome to WikiTree! The email we just sent has helpful links to get you started.

WikiTree is different than other genealogy websites because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we share ancestors and work together as a BIG collaborative team!

What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree?

When you confirm your email address, you’ll be given an opportunity to volunteer to help document our collective family history. Use the Tags and comments to tell us about your genealogical interests.

When you volunteer, one of our Greeters will confirm your membership. Then you'll be able to add your family to the tree!

We’re really glad you’re here.

David – Wiki Greeter
