I do not have first hand information on this set of great-grandparent. They were from the region of Yamaska, St-Francois-du-Lac. There is speculation as to an Odenak connection (the Alarie family). Like a lot of French Canadian, under British rule they migrated down into the United States.

His wife Olivia Marie Alarie was his first cousin. They had perhaps as many as ten live births, but only two made it past childhood.

Adelard J Gamelin died at Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood, NH. Olivia died at home of cancer in 1929. The couple is entered in St Josephs Cemetary, Epping, Rockingham NH. The grave was marked by wooden crosses that have since been removed.
