Biography
Henry was born in 1885.
LOCAL DIVORCE CASE. Mr. Justice Bucknill, in the London Divorce Court on Monday, heard a petition for divorce brought by Mrs. Dorothy Violet Gammidge, of Smalldean, Wendover, who alleged that her husband, Mr. Henry Arthur Gammidge, had been guilty of adultery. There was no defence to the petition. Mr. and Mrs. Gammidge were married in 1925. They had no children Ihe wife alleged that her husband had con fessed his love for another woman Adultery was alleged to have taken plate at an hotel, and the name of the woman was given. After hearing evidence by the wife and witnesses called to support the charge, Mr. Justice Bucknill granted Mrs. Gammidge a decree nisi for divorce against her husband, with costs.He passed away in 1971.
