She was the daughter of Thomas Ganaway and Ann Ash who lived in Poll Close, Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight, apparently Poll Close no longer exist. Carisbrooke is essentially a suburb of Newport, Isle of Wight, Hampshire, UK. In June of 1878 she married Albert White. By 1891 they were living at 71 Crocker St. Newport, Isle of Wight, Hampshire, UK. At the time of the 1891 Census the couple had 2 girls Caroline Florence 12 yrs old and Elsie Louisa 2 yrs who grew up and got married. Shortly after 1891 her father passed away in March 1892, and the following year her mother also passed in June of 1893. Caroline got married in March of 1905, and Elsie married in June of 1920. So she experienced marriage of her daughters before she passed away in June 1923. She may have had more children of course.
