Biography

Gopalkrishna Gandhi was born April 22, 1946 and is a diplomat and civil servant. He has also served as the Governor of West Bengal (2004 to 2009) and also as a member of the Indian Administration Service. He was also Secretary to the President of India and he also served as High Commissioner to South Africa, Sri Lanka, and he has held other administrative position and diplomatic posts.

He is married to Tara Gandhi and has two daughters.
