In 1841 he was living with his parents and 4 siblings on Church Street Warrington. [3]
On 10 December 1849, at St Elphin's church, Warrington, Samuel married Mary Ann Andrews. Witnesses were Henry Terry and Sarah Terry. [2][4]
In 1851 he was a fustian cutter living in Warrington with his wife and a son. [5]
Samuel and Mary moved to Manchester between 1851 and 1855. In 1871, they were living in Rodney Street, Manchester with 6 children. Samuel was a winder. [1]
