Daniel was born in 1758. after the death of his first wife, Martha Bryan, he married again to Jemima Robinson in 1808 [1] Daniel and Jemima had eleven children. He died in 1849 at the age of 90.
Daniel was an officer in the Revolutionary War and served with great credit to its close. He was of the Order of the Cincinnati (and believed to be the last) having a diploma signed by George Washington. From obit on his findagrave page.
