Hazel was my paternal grandmother. I remeber that she would come to visit us every summer and it was usually around my birthday. She made the most amazing birthday cakes for me. She loved to read and passed that love on to my Dad. And she loved to watch wrestling ( go figure!!) Also, Hazel gave books to her grandchildren for presents... always books and ones that we were actually interested in reading. I think I can attribute at least some of my love of reading and the fact that I worked in the Literacy field for 15 years at least partly partly because my grandmother loved books.
