Joshua Gapen was born in 1810.[1] He married Matilda Everly in 1835. Before 1860, he moved with his family to Sugar Creek Township, Boone County, Indiana.[2] In 1880, he lived in Lauramie, Indiana.[3] He died in 1890, and was buried in the Bethel Hill Cemetary in Lebanon, Indiana.[4]
