Francois Xavier Garand Sr.

He is the son of Joseph Garand and Marie Corbeil.

Francois Garant was born in 1806. He was baptized: 28th January 1806 at St-Antoine-sur-Richelieu, Verchères, Quebec, the child of Joseph Garant, cultivateur, and Marie Corbeil of this parish. Witnesses were: Francois Desmarais; Marguerite Garant ^[1]

Francois Garand, poturs (possibly potier - potter) son of: Joseph Garard and deceased Marie Corbeille of this parish married Marie Duplaquet , daughter of Antoine Duplaquet dit Lambert, solier, and Archange Rogue. They were married on 6th September 1830 ^[2]
